SA07 Sales Representative/Commercial Traveller
 
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

Main objectives: Achieve the sales budget and required customer sales levels for the designated territory.

Typical functions and responsibilities:
  • Call on customers and prospective customers in a designated area, promoting the company's products/services.
  • Provide regular sales reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Keep customers informed about supply and price trends.
  • Deal with routine questions and complaints from customers.
  • Be aware of innovations to the company's product/service range.
  • Obtain technical sales support for more important or involved sales.
  • Be aware of competitive activity and advise the Supervisor about counter actions which may be taken.

Typical qualifications and experience: Understanding of sales techniques and organisation's policies. Thorough knowledge of company's products/services.
