Reports to: Office Manager/Supervisor, Manager
Main objectives: Transcribes to typewritten form, letters, reports, documents, accounts and other material from written or printed sources, recordings on dictating machine and other sources.
Typical functions and responsibilities:
- Plan layouts in accordance with instructions or using own judgement.
- Type a variety of documents.
- Check typewritten work for correctness.
- Type from audio equipment.
- Operate a fax machine and/or telex machine
- Use electric or electronic typewriter.
- Operate a word processor.
- Do limited, routine clerical work.
Typical qualifications and experience: Certificate in typing skills and experience in office practice. |
